so i've decided to write on my old favorites.
hi, im Todes. (thats, Toe-dess) and im here to complain about the newer games and go over some of the old beauties that the current generation of gamers either forgot about, never heard of, or no longer play. i'll also write about whatever else suits my fancy, and probably yell at you from time to fime.
"But Todes!" says the spoiled 10-15 year olds who don't know jack about games "old games look like a bunch of blocks stacked on top of one another!"
yea? well fuck you. not all old games look so bad. granted they aren't the amped out brown-on-grey-on-dark shadows type games that seem to be spewing out of the woodwork with larger creation staffs then some countries armies (you know who you are), but they had something most new games are severely lacking...
a good storyline. plot points. enemies you hated for more than the current reasons of "they're the badguys" or "they're the nazis." not to mention a sense of emersion (that is to say, you feel like you are actually in the game) the list goes on.
games im planning on reveiwing soon: final fantasy tactics. fallout 1 and 2. road rash series. brainlord. original resident evils. and whatever else pops to the top of my brain pan
that all being said, there isnt any single way to contact me for the moment, so comment on these blogs if you have questions, comments, or hate mail.
next game to blog about: Phantasy star series, 1-4. and probably some odd jabs at current generation games.
this is Todes, and i probably hate you.

Michi: Why Hello There~
I am Michelle.
I am a girl gamer.
You never would have guessed that the first time I picked up Super Mario Bros. on the NES that I would be along side the many boys out there, making Mario run his little plumber ass through levels of pixilated brightness, making sure he broke every brick humanly possible and spammed the fire button every time I got a fire flower. From there I was steeped into the land of video games. Visiting stores often and frequently to see if any new games had arrived for me to conquer. From there I have memories of Sonic and various other games that kept me busy through the days.
Later, I got a Sega Genesis and CD add-on, and upgraded to an SNES with handy dandy Gameboy Color at my side. Who knows how many times I got in trouble at school by deciding to play Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. I was a damn Eevee whore!
But soon I had lost some of my console love. Money was a problem and the internet was a new thing. I had forsaken console games to play computer games. I remember a big old floppy disk for an Einstein kid game I had to manually run in DOS. Even past that, spending all available time on AOL to chat. Even with a PS1 on my side, I had mainly lost interest in any game related things.
Soon I had heard of the PS2… it drifted through my ears and reawakened me to console love. However I couldn’t acquire one until a few years after the console had been released. Even then I played very few games and drifted into the genre of anime.
Truth be told, I believe the saving grace of my gaming career was Squaresoft (Now Square-Enix) bringing in what I loved most (anime) and putting it into a game form. From there my love of games only grew…
Now once again steeped and rooted safely into the world of videogames my arsenal of gaming as expanded to computer FPSs, MMORPGS, and various titles and games genres ranging in all 3 7th gen consoles.
So now that you know my history and me, you will see me here every week writing about the various titles I play. My first knockdown will be Fable 2 for the XBOX 360. From there I can not be sure where the winds will take me, though you can be sure it will be an amusing experience.
